Way to Find Free CNA Training in Your Area

June 16, 2010

if you can’t afford to go for training with your teaching school then here are a few tips on getting free CNA training. First, start with a list of nursing homes or hospitals in your area and get their numbers from the telephone directory or the internet. Start placing calls to each and every place and enquire about free training sessions. More often than not, they would be willing to give you the training if you sign a contract to work for them for a specific time span be it 3 months or 2 years. If you get more than one offer, consider them both and take the one that would suit you the best.

Besides that, you can scout around your area for a workforce office as they mostly try to help those who can’t afford to pay for training classes. They do provide good CNA training but it can sometimes be quite a hassle trying to make inquiries and such so the best thing to do with this would be to make an appointment and walk in to meet the agent or representative face to face and get all the information you need.
