The Best Way To Get High Traffic

July 21, 2009

PPC publishing has a proven track record for producing positive results. Website owners and other business people have seen that the main strength in is this type of advertising is that your ad gets shown at the top of search engine results. Potential clients are always more likely to click on links in the top three positions, than to scroll through pages and pages of search results.

Now for the sales pitch. Know your target audience. This goes a long way towards choosing the best keywords for your advertising. Make strategic placement of your advertising. You want to go where your people go. If your target is teens, go where the teens will see you.

You might want to research your target market. The more you know about them, the better you will be able to write compelling ads. Price is people grabber. Many stores will have unbeatable deals “door crashers” just to snag customers, who, once in the store, will probably buy many other regularly priced items.

A big mistake made by many new publishers is that their ads are too confusing. A potential customer will see this brilliantly crafted ad, and not have a clue what you are trying to sell. Some publishers think this is great. It attract curious visitors, but almost never results in a sale. They leave your site thinking “well that was a waste of time”. A clear, concise ad, with words the average person will understand, and targeted to people that will buy is more productive.

You want to call potentials to become clients, but too forceful of a sales pitch will turn people off more than on. We a re bombarded with loud, obnoxious sales people on television, we don’t want them our computers.

Finally, make your opening page appealing, uncluttered, clear and concise.
